Frequently Asked Questions

How to Prepare for a Reiki Session

In person:

1. Have a light snack prior to your session so that you are not disturbed by hunger. Fruit, vegetables, and live foods are the best.

2. Wear comfortable clothing

3. Honor your treatment by having down time to relax, journal, bathe, and rest after your session

4. During the session you’ll be asked to turn off electronics and remove gadgets such as fitbits. Anything that may produce and alarm should be left in a safe space at home or in your vehicle.

Distance Sessions:

1. Often clients find it most beneficial to do a session in the evening, close to bedtime. A few helpful hints to maximize your session:

 

2. Wear cozy cloths that you can sleep in and prepare for bed prior to our session, set your alarm, complete bedtime rituals etc. This way if you drift off, there is no need to worry.

 

3. During your session you will be releasing items that no longer serve you, it is wise to have water near you in case you need something to drink upon completion of the session or in the morning.

 

4. You may want to take notes from the card session, please have paper and writing tools nearby for a few notes. I'll send you a picture the cards that were drawn for later reference.

5. During your session you will want to be in a space of solitude, this time is for you!

​

6. If able, a few personal touches can enhance the session. Fresh sheets, turn on a salt lamp, open the window a few minutes before to let out the old and welcome the new. If you smudge your home this would be a good opportunity to do some cleansing.

7. As with an in person session, please silent phones and electronics for an undisturbed session.

​

8. Please submit payment via paypal (reikidanica@gmail.com). if other arrangements need to be made, I will invoice you prior to the session, please submit payment 15 minutes prior to the session

How to Prepare for an Intuitive Angel Card Reading

In person:

1. Give some thought to your question(s). The more specific the question, the more specific the answer. Feel free to write them down ahead of time, so that you can make the most of our time together.

2. Questions need to be for you, I can not ask for guidance for other people without their stated permission.

​

3. Know that you have free will and can choose to use the information provided as you wish, you can always make changes in your life which may impact the future results.

​

Distance:

1. Create a scared space where you will not be disturbed during our session. This may mean that you are alone in your home or in a space where you will not be interrupted.

​

2. Give some thought to your question(s). The more specific the question, the more specific the answer. Feel free to write them down ahead of time, so that you can make the most of our time together.

​

3. Questions need to be for you, I can not ask for guidance for other people without their stated permission.

​

4. Know that you have free will and can choose to use the information provided as you wish, you can always make changes in your life which may impact the future results.

​

5. Please have a paper and pen handy for notes, the messages are for you and I will not remember them. I will take a photo of the cards so that you can look at them at your convenience.

7. Both of our time is valuable if you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so 24 hours in advance. Sessions will begin on time with a 10 minute grace period.
